Why Is It Always Sundaze?
I’m Jhayce, a Baton Rouge native who made Atlanta home in November 2025 after spending time in both Washington, D.C. and New York City. By day, I work full time in public relations, but storytelling and creating have always been the things I find my way back to.
My introduction to the wedding world actually happened a little unexpectedly. In January 2026, I started working with Gatherings by HB after connecting through Upwork. What began as another creative opportunity quickly turned into a genuine love for the wedding industry and all the people, details and stories that come with it.
By June, I decided to take the leap into wedding content creation, and I’ve been in love with it ever since.
Today, Always Sundaze allows me to combine everything I love about storytelling, social media and weddings. I get to capture the moments couples want to relive while also helping wedding vendors showcase the incredible work that goes into creating those moments. I also coordinate weddings with Confetti Weddings, which has given me an even greater appreciation for everything happening behind the scenes on a wedding day.
And yes, I do all of this while working full time in PR. I pride myself on managing my time well and being fully present for whatever is in front of me. When I’m not working or at a wedding, you can usually find me with a good book, trying a new restaurant or with a coffee in hand.
As for the name?
Sundays have always been my happiest daze. Sleeping in, wandering through a farmers market, finding a great coffee shop or doing absolutely nothing on the couch. It’s the day of the week when I feel the most present, fulfilled and intentional.
That feeling is what I want to bring to everything I create. Content that lets you slow down, take it all in and remember exactly how a moment felt.
So it’s Always Sundaze.
And when your name is Jhayce, why spell anything the normal way?
Hi, I’m Jhayce
I’m a Baton Rouge native, Howard University grad and Atlanta based PR professional turned wedding creative. After graduating in May 2024, I moved to New York City for my first post grad job, spent some time in D.C. along the way, and eventually made my way to Atlanta in November 2025.
Creating has always been part of who I am. If you’ve known me long enough, you probably remember one of my many YouTube eras, including totallytweenable. From making videos as a kid to managing social media in college and now working full time in PR, storytelling has followed me through every chapter.
In January 2026, I found my way into the wedding world after connecting with Gatherings by HB through Upwork. I quickly fell in love with the industry, and by June, I decided to take the leap into wedding content creation. I haven’t looked back since.
Today, I’m building Always Sundaze around two things I genuinely love: capturing wedding days for couples and helping wedding vendors tell the story behind their work. I also coordinate weddings with Confetti Weddings, which means I’ve had the opportunity to experience wedding days from several sides and understand just how much care goes into bringing every detail together.
When I’m not working, creating, or at a wedding, I’m probably reading a good book, looking for my next coffee shop, trying a new restaurant, traveling, or slowly making my Atlanta apartment feel like home. I’m also a proud Catholic, and my faith is an important part of who I am. Just as important to me is leading with love and making sure everyone I work with feels welcomed, celebrated, and respected, no matter who they are or who they love. 🤍
Welcome to Always Sundaze. I’m so happy you’re here. 🤍
